HIP HOP...HIP HOP

Hip hop has been a much discussed topic throughout the past 2 centuries. Many don't understand it, many don't care too, and many think they're experts. Our generation (18-25 yrs of age) grew up during the last tale end of quality/meaningful/somewhat tasteful hip hop music. Of course times will change, change is understandably inevitable. However, the messages prevalent through out today's hip hop have escaped any assumption of what was to evolve from the hip hop culture in the future.

Although hip hop is experienced an unflattering alteration to it's culture, there is still hope to return hip hop to the ideals it was founded upon. Right now, there may not be meaningful or appropriate lyrics but it is important to remember there are artists out there creating real music rather than club hits.

The question remains...

"Don't push me cause I'm close to the edge
I'm trying not to lose my head, ah huh-huh-huh
It's like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder
How I keep from going under
It's like a jungle sometimes it makes me wonder
How I keep from going under"
